Step-by-Step Guide
In this video we'll cover how to install a free WordPress theme to your blog. We'll also go over how to browse and filter through the thousands of themes that WordPress offers. Finally, as an added bonus, you'll get a sneak peak of what your blog will look like when you're done with this course. Let's get started!
Step 1
Access your themes by clicking Appearance>Themes.
Step 2
Click the “Add New Theme” button.
Step 3
If you know the name of the theme you want to use, then enter it in the search box. If not, start browsing the free theme directory.
Step 4
Once you’ve decided on a theme, click the “Install” button.
Step 5
It should only take a few seconds for your theme to be successfully installed. Once it’s installed, click the “Activate” button.
